Making it big in Hollywood, is no easy fete. If one doesn’t have any connections to the industry, then perhaps, a bit of creativity may open some doors. Networking could be extremely beneficial. It doesn’t really matter what you want to do in the film industry. For instance, an aspiring actor, film maker, screenwriter, it’s a very small circle, when all things are considered. Maybe hanging out at places where people in the business go, would be a way to open up doors. Most film executives, working at the major film studios in Hollywood, hang out at a lot of the same places. Lucy’s El Dobe, on Melrose Ave. is a well known hang out of a lot of studio executives at Paramount Films. Everyone from some of the biggest actors, producers, directors, down to the key grips work out at the 24 hr fitness center on Sunset and Vine in Hollywood. Steven Spielberg, holds court every Wednesday afternoon at Cantor’s Deii on Fairfax when he’s in town. Other big wigs in the industry let their dogs roam free at the dog park to the stars on the top of Ledgewood Drive, right below the famed Hollywood sign, you can’t miss it!
